February was an eventful month for Ellie-- she figured out how to stand without holding onto anything!
She loves when her big brothers and sister clap and cheer for her when she accomplishes something new. And now she claps for herself, too! Yay, Ellie!!
The boys all went to a Charlotte Hornets basketball game so the girls and I went out to dinner. I let Lexie pick our dinner location and it's no surprise that she picked Chipotle. I think part of her desire to go to Chipotle for dinner was that there is a Baskin Robbins next door.....
We taught Ellie to sign a few words so that it would be easier to understand her- her favorite to sign is "more" (and yes, I know she doesn't do it correctly, but she does it consistently and we know what it means)
Ellie took her first steps in February. I wasn't in the room when it happened but luckily Ben was able to catch the excitement on an old iPod.
