road trip day eight: pool fun and frost

The pool was definitely one of the highlights of Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Nick especially liked seeing how many different ways he could jump into the pool.

The noodles were a hit and some people liked to hoard them for extra buoyancy.

After several hours of swimming the kids were ready for a break so we made a trip to Frost.  The girls and I went last year when we were visiting but this was the first trip for all the boys-- and they were in love.

We wrapped up the evening relaxing with Grandma and Grandpa-- mainly the kids showing them how to use their Apple TV to watch the games they played on their iPods.  Ellie discovered my old rocking chair (that Grandpa lovingly refinished) and claimed it as her own.
