We love taking advantage of the beautiful fall weather and spending as much time as possible in the backyard.

The kids love roasting hotdogs for dinner-- and I can't complain-- it's quick, easy, and doesn't leave a mess in the kitchen!
Fall has the best weather for playing outside. It's not too hot and not too cold!
Ellie loves her water table-- unlike the bathtub, she doesn't have to keep the water inside.

It's so nice being able to relax by the fire while the kids run around and play outside.
Ellie and Nick have a special bond. He loves carrying her around and playing with her and she absolutely adores him!

Ellie was completely enthralled with the fire this time. She kept getting pieces of mulch (or wood, as she kept saying) and throwing them into the fire.
We wrapped up the night with s'mores (and deconstructed s'mores for Ellie)!
