We celebrated Christopher's thirteenth birthday as a family back in August, and celebrated again with his friends in September. There's nothing more entertaining than a group of teenage boys and their dinner!
Happy birthday, Christopher!! Everyone (even Ellie!) got to help blow out the candles-- and we did it several times!
For months (years!), Christopher had been asking (pestering) us to get him a phone. While I'm still not at all convinced that he NEEDED one, we decided that this would be the year he got one. Let me tell you, he was SHOCKED when his birthday present started ringing as he was opening it and then he was ECSTATIC! And promptly called Grandma to tell her all about it. I think it's safe to say that he had a pretty good birthday this year.
