Our sweet Ellie turned four months old this month. 

We do a big birthday celebration for all the spring birthdays while Grandma and Grandpa are in town.  We celebrate each person's birthday on their actual birthday and then again (or early!) for our big party so that we can celebrate with the grandparents!

Lexie was excited to open her presents from Grandma and Grandpa.  The maple bacon chapstick was definitely a hit since she loves ANYTHING bacon!

Ben got a bag of rocks and a new book-- he was excited that Grandma and Grandpa know him so well!

As part of Grandma's gift, the kids made her a wind chime.

Grandpa got all teary-eyed over his Disneyland print for his office.

Then it was time for the cakes!  Lexie had a strawberry cake with fresh strawberries on top.

Ben picked carrot cake (as usual) and Nick had red velvet brownies with cream cheese frosting.

All of the cakes (Grandma and Grandpa had lemon cake!).  Ellie even got in on the fun and "helped" blow out the candles on Grandma and Grandpa's cake!

After Grandma and Grandpa headed back to Arizona, it was time for Lexie's REAL birthday!  She was soooooo excited to get Frozen for her birthday and it quickly became her favorite movie.

Since we had just finished all of the cakes from the big birthday celebration, Lexie decided to go with strawberry cheesecake for her real birthday.  Make a wish, sweet girl!!
