The kids seemed to have fun taking pictures with the chalkboard, especially if I let them do a silly picture after getting a good one.
June 10, 2016 - Arlington TX - State #7 - 1090 miles
We had lunch at Torchy's Tacos in Arlington and while I know it's a chain (which we typically try to avoid), it's not one that we have in NC. The kids were excited to go through the elaborate menu and pick out what they wanted and their choices ranged from baja shrimp to portobello mushroom to breakfast tacos!
Since it was another long day in the car-- and there wasn't anything interesting to look at in west Texas-- we stopped at Sonic for slushes during happy hour and that kept everyone entertained for awhile.
When we finally made it to our hotel in Hobbs, we had fun taking pictures while we waited for our pizzas to arrive for dinner. While we enjoy eating at restaurants, sometimes it's nice to eat pizza in your pajamas in the privacy of your room!
