We stopped at Waffle House for a quick breakfast before our drive to Newport Beach, California.

Since Grandma and Grandpa went too, we were able to send a couple of kids in the car with them and enjoy a quieter drive. Unfortunately, a couple of hours into the drive Jacob's back started bothering him and he was in a lot of pain. He thought that he must have pulled a muscle loading the car and tried to sleep it off while I drove but by the time we made it to our amazing hotel, Newport Coast Villas, he was in excruciating pain and quickly headed to bed hoping that a good night's sleep would solve the problem.
Loved the view from our balcony!!
