5: the gimp

Jacob has had a string of bad luck lately. Last month he did a combatives course and broke his toe and bruised (broke?) one of his ribs. He finally recovered and was getting back into things at work.

Early Tuesday morning he jumped out of a "high performance aircraft while in flight". The wind shifted just as he was landing and he ended up having an improper PLF (parachute landing fall). He went to the doctor today and they said he sprained his ankle and either severely sprained his knee or tore his ACL or meniscus. He's supposed to stay off of it for the next week and then go in for an MRI if it's not getting better.
