After an early lunch, we made the drive up to Flagstaff, stopping at the Rock Springs Cafe for their world famous pie. The kids searched for a geocache with Grandpa on the way in and then it was pie time! While the pie was good, it definitely was not the best we'd ever had and probably not somewhere we would go out of our way to return to. We hopped back into the car to finish up the drive north.
We took advantage of the evening happy hour at Embassy Suites before introducing the kids to the best burgers in Flagstaff at Bunhuggers! Then, it was back to the hotel where the kids in our room (Chris and Ben were in Grandma and Grandpa's room) watched some Shark Week before bed.
