orlando: 'ohana

the poly
The next morning, we met the whole family at the Polynesian Resort so that we could all go to breakfast at 'Ohana together.  'Ohana has been a favorite of our family for years and the kids were excited to introduce Hannah (and Auntie Janne and Uncle Adam) to the fun!

'ohana breakfast
'Ohana is an "all you care to eat" breakfast, but unlike the other ones on Disney property that are buffets, at 'Ohana they bring the food to you-- and keep bringing it until you're tired of eating!

'ohana parade
The parade through the restaurant is a nice break from eating.

silly pluto
And then it was time to meet some characters.  Pluto sure is a silly puppy-- he thought it would be funny to pose IN FRONT of the kids!

hannah meets the characters
Hannah met some of the characters, too, but like Ellie, she was not a fan if they got too close.

we HEART mickey
Everybody loves Mickey!!

lilo and stitch
Meeting Lilo and Stitch.

stitch lovers
Stitch has always been Ben's favorite character-- and this year Lexie insisted on getting a picture with him, too.

poly fun
We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast, rode the monorail, and stopped for a dole whip before changing into costumes for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

poly costumes
Our immediate family dressed up as characters from Peter Pan:
Jacob and I were the parents, Christopher was Captain Hook, Nick was Smee, Ben was Peter Pan, Lexie was Wendy, and Ellie was Tinkerbell.
