Time for Hollywood!! We had tickets to an afternoon showing of Cars 3 at the El Capitan Theatre which meant that we just HAD to have ice cream for lunch at the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain. We ordered several sundaes to split and enjoyed looking at the Disney merchandise in the store.

We love getting there early to hear Rob Richards on the organ (he was our fave from Organ Stop decades ago!).
They always have a fun preshow before the movie-- this time was no different!
The kids loved the balls and the confetti-- audience participation is always a hit!
After the movie, we drove south to Newport Beach and got settled into our hotel for the next few days! Love this view!!
